What is a strong work ethic?
A strong work ethic demonstrates the principles an individual uses to do their job. These principles result in valuable personal traits. A good work ethic is important in all aspects of work in school, college or as an employee.
These traits are indicative of a strong work ethic:
Be reliable and make sure people know that they can depend on you.
Be dedicated to your work and always do a good job.
Be productive and manage your time well in order to get the task done.
Be honest at all times.
Be cooperative and learn to work well with others.
Have integrity in any situation.
Have a sense of responsibility to the company, to others and to yourself.
Be a great team player.
Always be professional when dealing with tough situations.
Be respectful to your boss and co-workers.
Do good quality work.
Be punctual when arriving at work and meetings.
When you have these qualities and show strong work ethic your employer will have confidence in your abilities in getting the job done well. A strong work ethic results in promotion and success in your career.
