How to find your talent & Strengths

Many people are not sure of what to do when they are deciding on a career path. It is important to know your talents and strengths as these are good indicators of what you would be good at doing. The following questions will help find what those talents could be.
What was your best subject at school?
If you love math at school, then you should perhaps look at careers where this talent can be used such as an accountant. If it was english you loved, maybe you could be a jouranlist or a writer. Look for the clues!
What kind of work is easy for me?
Does everyone look to you when they need to fix something? Do you like working with your hands? Do you like arts & crafts or do you love caring for pets? These answers can give you an idea of skills you have that can transfer to the workplace.
What do people compliment me on?
Do you hear the same compliment from people over and over again? Do people notice something about you which can be a strength in the workforce? For example if your friends always come to you for advice, then maybe you will be a natural as a counsellor or a psychologist. Pay attention to those compliments.
What are some of my personality traits?
Ask friends and family members to tell you what personality traits they see in you. Are you a strong leader? do they see you as a go getter or someone who is more of a thinker?
What do I like doing on my time off?
This is a big clue as to what your talent might be. If you had the day all to yourself, what would you like doing? Perhaps you might say watching movies, then you know you have an interest in the movie industry.
