Work on Resilience


What makes a person resilient? This is a skill that can be learned. It is the ability to overcome struggles and difficult circumstances. How do you overcome them? It is the development of behaviors and actions that can be learned over time. One of the ways to develop this skill is to be adaptable to all circumstances.


When there is a difficult situation, try to keep calm and be aware of what is happening and the best way to tackle the situation. Don't act in a hurry and do the first thing that comes to mind. Every time you overcome an obstacle you will develop behaviors that lead to greater resiliency.


If you fail at something, pick yourself up and try again. Don't give up easily. If something is difficult it means it is a learning experience.


Don't let your emotions take over. Take a deep breath and come back the next hour or day. Try not to act when you are emotional about a situation.


Believe in yourself and know that you can do it. Know that you are capable and that you have the ability to cope with any situation.
