What is Anxiety?

Everyone gets anxious about things that happen in their lives. Will I pass that important exam that I have been studying for? Will I make friends at school? My parents are fighting, will they get a divorce? These are important issues and it is understandable that people would get anxious thinking about them.
If these feelings persist or they become so strong that they take over any logical thought, then it might be something called Anxiety Disorder. People who have Anxiety disorders have feelings of worry all the time about every day situations. Their feelings are not proportional to the event and it can even turn into fear that results in panic attacks.
