What is E-commerce?

E-commerce stands for Electronic commerce which means the buying and selling of goods, products and services using the internet.

This type of transaction is becoming more and more popular so much that it is effecting some retail stores. But it is definitely an easier way of buying and selling. You can do all your shopping without leaving your home or even getting dressed.

There are three types of eCommerce:

• Business to Business - These are websites such as shopify. Ready to start your own business then shopify will help you set up.

• Business to consumer - Think Amazon. Jeff Bezos the founder and CEO is one of the richest men in the world.

• Consumer to consumer - These are websites like eBay. You can list your products on these websites and people can buy directly from you.
